Message: My family seem to have started out around Firbank/Dillicar/ Dowgill, then migrated to Lambrigg then to Preston Richard, Westmorland. My great grandfather, John Hebblethwaite (b 1840 Deer Park, Preston Richard) was a wood sawyer and wound up in Sheffield, dying 1909. Along the way he certainly lived in Leicester and Worksop (where my grandfather was born). By the way, I live in Preston.
