Wooldale Free Church
A number of Hebblethwaites are mentioned on the memorials at the Wooldale Free Church, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Also known locally as Lane Bottom Chapel, the church is situated off New Mill Road opposite the village Community Centre.
There are two wooden plaques on the ground floor that remember the men and women who gave their lives in two World Wars. The period commemorated is 1914 – 1919 and 1939 – 1945. There are also two further plaques upstairs in the church listing the members of the Church who gave their lives in World War 1 and 2.
